Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine Review

Each E.P.C.O.T festival tries to incentivize Guests to try their booths' foods by offering a redemption prize. This prize is usually an unique food item. You can only earn this prize from collecting 5 stamps which you earn by buying specific foods. I participated in the Food and Wine's version this year and was excited about the food listed as Colorful Cuisine. So without further a do here is my reviews for the walk of colorful cuisine:

Photo of an empanada and the walk of colorful cuisine stamp page of the festival of the arts guide booklet.

1.) Chorizo and Potato Empanada 8.7/10 ⭐s.

So warm actually?!! (Warm is rare for festival food). Took a bit to get to the filling but I liked the level of spice. The crust and aioli was quite good. Overall a solid festival food and good first ever empanada!

A can of tomato soup that has a label saying "Pop-Eats" on it and a wedge of grilled cheese.

2). Pop-Eats! Grilled cheese and Tomato soup 7/10⭐s.

Such cute presentation! I used to highly dislike tomato soup now I think its decent. It was a pretty solid grilled cheese and tomato soup was okay. Nothing mind-blowing.

3.) Blueberry Filled Pastry Tart 6.9/10 ⭐s.

Was initially very scared this was going to be like a poptart (BLEH) but it's more like a decent sugar cookie.

Gourmet Landscapes food booth in background and the rosted beets and goat cheese dish held in the foregrouns.

4.) Canada Roasted Beets 6.6/10 ⭐s.

Goat cheese is the strongest flavor which is a good thing. I didn't like beets in the past but this time they just tasted...cold? Very refreshing and dish actually tasted 'healthy' which is a nice change from typical Disney food.

5.) Deconstructed Key lime pie 6.4/10 ⭐s.

Was pretty good, at first. Had a strong bitter aftertaste. The presentation was very cute. Reminds me of the Inside-Out scene, you know the one lol!

Prize of a purple slush in a Festival of the Arts cup and a sugar cookie decorated like an artist's paint palette with the festical of the arts festival guide stamped page and the Deco-eats food booth in the background.

The Prize! 7.5/10 ⭐s.

An adorable DOUBLE whammy receiving an artist palette sugar cookie AND a frozen drink in a souvenir cup! The slush is quite yummy with a sweet agave taste. Tried the cookie 2 weeks later lol. Was completely crumbled (my B) and tasted like a basic batch made sugar cookie with hard icing but okay overall.

Craving some more Festival of the Arts foods? Don't worry, I got you with these foods and drinks below!

A lavender colored drink with a purple flower, boba pearls, and boba straw.
Butterfly Blue 8/10 ⭐s. Soooo yummy and refreshing and beautiful. But the bursting bubbles are not bursting but rather chewy sorta like eating a flavorless orby.
A bao bun held up in front of the Painted Panda Food booth.
Char siu bao 8.5/10 ⭐s. Like this a lot. Good size. warm. Meat was tender and veggies gave a good crunch. Sauce was sweet and not overpowering.
A tiny bread bowl with melted brie held up in front of the Cuisine Francaise food booth.
Crème de Brie en Petit Pain 8/10 ⭐s. Warm and creamy cheese on classic French bread. Can't go wrong.
Alix holds out a salmon and spinach puff pastry.
Vol-au-Vent de Saumon et Epinards, Sauce Chardonnay 6.97/10 ⭐s. Was excited for this but very underwhelming. Good textures but needed to be warmer and sauce wasn't great.
Beef Wellington held up in front of the Classique Cuisine food booth.
Beef Wellington 8.9/10 ⭐s. I was starving, but very good festival food! Was quite warm and I actually liked these mash potatoes?! The sauce was delicious and tiny veggies adorable. Downsides were its small size and not enough puff pastry to prevent meat from falling out.
Grilled pork belly sandwich held out in front of the Craftman's Courtyard food booth.
Grilled Pork Belly 7.4/10 ⭐s. Weirdly tastes like chicken? But didn't taste fatty so that's good! Loved the veggies on top.
Bri has an open-mouth excited face as she holds up a clear popcorn bucket with figment (a purple dragon) riding a rainbow in it.

Figment's Inspiration Station at the Odyssey was home to the famous popcorn bucket. Which, as a Figment STAN I needed to get. Also at the station was rainbow cake and a grape smoothie, both sponsored by freeze-dried skittles.

Rainbow cake 8.7/10 ⭐s- If I could taste the rainbow this would be it (afterall sponsored by skittles lol). Very moist and delicious.

Grape Smoothie 8.5/10 ⭐s- VERY artificial grape flavor, but I sorta like it. Also has taste and texture of whip cream dispersed throughout. Super cute souvenir cup.
