*Disclaimer! This is NOT an accurate potrayal of all of Alix's highlights from his 22nd year of life. This post is written by Bri and thus only includes her moments with Alix. Albeit time with Bri IS Alix's only highlights. Not really, but hopefully this post captures some of the best of times. Without further ado...
Happy day of borth to Alix.

This post is an omage and farewell to the 22nd year of Alix beginning...
365 days ago- the day he stepped into his Taylor era.

Continuing onto the absolute BEST surprise in his entire 22 years of life. The day his gf unexpectedly arrived home for their anniversary.

It was then his turn to visit me. We lived our life in the dream house. Found the BEST Disney restaurant EVER. Dressed up like Shaggy and Scooby. Watched Bri's poor survival reflexes when scared and watched Alix fangirl over Star Wars time and time again.
So we had another trip together! We experienced the bougie life, staying at Saratoga Springs allowing us to walk down to Disney Springs every night for dinner. We danced in a gazebo, goofed around in the parks, and filmed even more unboxing videos.

In between these memorable visits, Alix and I spent time goofing around over facetime. Celebrating successes or complaining about work. Alix made me cry over his christmas gift, spotted me on T.V., and visited college friends in Ohio (but still facetimed me on New Years)🥰.

I wouldn't see Alix again until my time at Disney was over. I ended February 8th, returned home the tenth. Three days later, it was Alix's turn to suprise me as I found him in the addition. (Lowkey I had my hopes high he would suprise me but thought he would come on my birthday not the day before lol).

My own Swift era coming to an end was one of the best birthdays ever as I got to spend it with Alix, exploring Philly and seeing Ms. Doubtfire the musical. Then got bonus days with Alix and the family playing boardgames, watching Percy Jackson, and building legos!

A month later Alix had settled in to his new job at the Nation's Health System. I was still in the unemployment slump when his mom informed me of an opening at the museum. Fate had it I got to go up and interview in person staying with Alix and his fam for the week.

After officially moving in with Alix and his family, we have had so many adventures together like...
All leading up to today. The very last moments of "feeling like I'm 22" for Alix Joseph Printup. Time was spent enjoying time with family and friends (aka gaming and watching a game), smoking brisket, and the baby boy closing his rings by walking the baby boy.

Now that the Taylor era is over, I wonder what you will do! Whatever it may be, I know it will impress me. And I can't wait to spend a 23rd year around the sun with you. Happy Birthday you dink. Remember to try to not feel too old, you already got the back (and maturity...sometimes) for that.
Bye Bye Taylor.
And hello Miley (Taylor Come back we miss you) 💀💀💀
Not pictured throughout this post are the zelda/pokemon game nights. The movie dates (this September we decided to become A-listers)! The work-break walks and talks. The bike rides and the speed sessions. The cries (Bri) and the comfort. The commutes to work, to Olean, to buffalo, or even beyond. The back pain trial and error and growth in becoming more agile in soccer and able to run faster for longer. The hard-work and talent Alix brings to work, his adulting, and his grad school search. And most importantly the love he shows his family which no amount of documentation is necessary nor would any be necessary.
Alix, you are the light of mine and your Family's & Friend's lives. Cheesy but true. Happy Birthday, I love you...Haha that rhymed!

All my love and puns for your 23rd year may it feel as light as air (Jordan's). See what I did there waka waka hahaha (☛´∀`*)☛
Your Hilarious and cheesy,
Brie Bree💘🧀🤣

What a wonderful way to show birthday love
