Happy May 4th! In celebration, come with me as Alix experiences a galaxy far far away for the first time. This is the story of Alix's visit to Batuu and specifically, Savi's Workshop.
For some context, my mom invited Alix and I on the Easter Disney trip. Surprisingly, Alix said yes....After promising (bribing) him we would build lightsabers.๐๐ซ ๐คฃ

As you can imagine, I was over the moon at the prospect of getting to go on a Disney vacation with Alix. What could be better than quality time with the love of my life in the most 'magical' place?! I was especially excited about showing Alix Galaxy's Edge in Hollywood Studios. And I had good right to be! Just look at how this Star War's goons face lights up while experiencing Batuu for the first time!
Here is a bunch of other videos of Alix being a complete nerd about Star Wars ๐ค:
Video context:
1.) GONK droid!!!
2.) Seeing the Millennium Falcon for the first time.
3.) For the love of Hondo!
4.) Easily distracted lol.
5.) Why hello there, Alix's new favorite store.
6.) He has obtained the holicron.
What was Alix most excited for? The bribe of course! And I have to admit I was pretty excited too.

The experience at Savi's workshop is held sacred. A once in a lifetime Disney 'magical' experience kind of thing. Meaning no photos or recordings of any kind once inside (this could also tip off the first order of Savi's location if photos got loose). Each lightsaber builder however, can bring with them one guest. So my sisters were pretty ecstatic to witness the experience.
What I can say is that, this experience was EPIC. And Alix was laughing at me since I got REALLY into the whole 'let the force guide you' thing. I was moved to choose green (like the wrinkly and wise little green man Yoda) and Alix chose purple (mostly because they didn't have yellow). For guilds Alix chose Protection and Defense and I, Elemental Nature.

Afterwards we were sure to take a bazillion photos! Feel free to check out our out of this world photoshoot in the gallery below:
My sisters and mom adored having Alix there (and I did too). I am forever grateful for this trip to Batuu.
