A little slow to get into at first. Strong themes of female empowerment, self-discovery, and trust. Such messaging makes it a book everyone should read.
Get ready for an exciting look into Star Wars most captivating villain's rise to power. The cunningness of this Blue-skinned red-eyed Grand Admiral might just get you rooting for the Galatic Empire.

A tougher read at times with switches in viewpoints (speeding up the pacing) and complicated military strategy. However, Timothy Zahn is a master of storytelling; his character development and ability to build suspense is bound to have you at the edge of your seat!
Immerse yourself in Star Wars LORE as you delve into a historic tale of Ranger Lanoree Brock's quest to save the ancient Jed'aii order and with it- the galaxy.

May be a tad biased since this is the book that REALLY got me into the Star Wars Universe. WARNING- this book will leave you with an immense urge to know more about the time of swords before lightsabers.

Would you recommend reading any of these books as stand alone or a sequence is needed to capture the plot?
Hi Gerri, thanks for the comment!:) I read these all stand alone as they are the same universe but happening at different times with different plots, but definitely am hoping to finish the legends series and the other Thrawn books in the future!
